As a precautionary measure and following state and federal guidelines in conforming with recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and the Ohio Department of Health concerning the Cornonavirus (COVID-19), the Village of New Boston asks that all visitors to the New Boston Community Center do so only on official business and suggest that you call the Mayor’s office (740-456-4103) to make certain staff are available due to some services being provided on a limited basis.

Community Center Room rentals are no longer being considered at this time.

Payments for Mayors court fines and costs may be paid by telephone by calling 740-456-4103 ext. 2 between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.

Tax Department questions may be handled by calling 740-456-4103 ext. 3 between business hours 8 am – 4 pm.

General complaints to the Police Department may be filed by telephone by calling 740-456-4109 between the hours of 7 am and 3 pm.

Police reports and documents can be requested by calling 740-456-4109 between the hours of 7 am and 3 pm. These documents and reports can be emailed or faxed to you.

For the protection of our employees and citizens, the general public is asked to, except on official business, refrain from visiting the New Boston Police Department, Fire Department and Service Department garage.

NEW BOSTON COUNCIL VACANCY

Any New Boston resident over the age of 18 interested in filling the recent council member vacancy must submit a letter of interest to the Mayor’s office no later than 4:00 p.m., January 17, 2020. The vacant council member term expires December 31, 2021.

Village residents are asked to come join us for 
pancakes and a visit from Santa Claus!

If you’d like to have an entry in the parade, the application is available on this page or you can pick one up at the Mayor’s office. They will need to be turned to the Mayor’s office by 12pm on Friday, December 6th, 2019.

Line up is at 4pm in Pat Catans parking lot. At 5pm the parade will go from the mall turn right heading east on Rhodes Avenue turn left heading north on Park Avenue turning left heading west on Gallia Street turning left heading south on West Avenue from there turning left on Rhodes Avenue to turning right heading south on Center Street back to our original starting point.

Afterward everyone is invited to the Fire Department for hot chocolate and cookies as well as visit with SANTA CLAUS!??
