My name is Lana Loper and I am the Clerk/Treasurer for the Village of New Boston.  I am an elected official and my duties include attending all council meetings and keep records of all proceedings, rules, bylaws and legislation, keep accurate statements of all money received and expended, prepare payroll and submit BWC Claims, etc.  I first started working for the Village in 1999 as the Income Tax Director, and then was appointed to the Clerk’s office in 2007.  I was elected in 2008 to my first term of office as clerk and in 2015 I am starting my 3rd term.  I was born and raised in New Boston and a 1967 graduate of Glenwood High School.  My husband, Butch and I have four children all of whom graduated from Glenwood, Missy, Shane, Todd and Heather.  It has been a pleasure working for all the citizens of the Village and will be glad to help anyone who would have any questions.  Please call the office anytime at 740-456-4103.  You may also E-mail using our CONTACT PAGE.
