New Boston Kiwanis honored Glenwood High School students Sara Adkins and Aaron Hannah for winning the state championship this year in the Americanism and Government Test. Adkins is a sophmore and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Adkins, and Hannah, a senior, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hannah. Both students have won trips to Washington D.C. this spring and are being recognized by New Boston Village Council for their outstanding achievement. This annual program collects donations all year long to buy gifts. This year there were more than 900 names on Santa’s delivery list.

We cannot display this galleryThe First Annual Village of New Boston Christmas Parade was Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010. The parade included local residents, businesses, organizations and schools … and even Santa and Mrs. Claus riding along in the New Boston Fire Department’s vintage 1959 Chevy fire truck. The route traveled from Vinyl Kraft on Rhodes Avenue to Lakeview Avenue and ended near the New Boston Stadium
