The Southern Ohio Port Authority (SOPA) is applying to the U.S.E.P.A.-Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund program (RLF) for cleanup and remediation funding. If approved, $200,000.00 of funding will be used in remediating petroleum at the former Diesel Repair Shop property located at 600 River Ave., in New Boston, Ohio 45662.

A public meeting to discuss the application an solicit comments to this application will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at the New Boston Community Center, located at 3980 Rhodes Ave., in New Boston, Ohio.

The application is available for review for not less than 30 days at the Vern Riffe New Boston Public Library, located at 3850 Rhodes Ave., in New Boston, Ohio, until Oct. 14, 2010.
