Village Administrator and Code Enforcement Officer Steve Hamilton on March 17 informed council of the new village street sweeping schedule. Beginning April 13, the street sweeper will run on during the second week of each month. Gallia Street and Shale Bank Drive will be swept on Monday; Rhodes Avenue and Clayport Road will be swept on Tuesday; Harrisonville, Lakeview, Columbia and Pennsylvania avenues, as well as Pine, Spruce, Cedar, Oak, Maple, York and Taft streets will be swept on Wednesday; Stanton, Ohio, West, Peebles and Manning avenues, as well as Buch, Finney, Stewart, Grace and Vine streets will be swept on Thursday; and Center Street, Glenwood Avenue, and the highway outside of Wal-Mart will be swept on Friday. Hamilton said the sweeper would run between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.
