Village Adminstrator Steve Hamilton invites the residents of New Boston to take advantage of the 4th Annual Hazardous Waste Clean-up on Sept. 26 at Dow Chemical Plant, located at 925 County Road 1 A, in Hanging Rock, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sponsored by the Lawrence-Scioto County Solid Waste Management District (LSSWMD), the clean-up event will provide residents of Scioto and Lawrence counties a place to safely, and legally, dispose of hazardous items items such as tires, electronics, lead-acid batteries, cell phones, computers, motor oil, brake fluid, cleaners, paint and pesticides.
