During its meeting on Oct. 20, New Boston Village Council voted to post a “no left turn” sign at the intersection of U.S. 52 West and River Street — at the New Boston Corporation Limit coming from Sciotoville, near the Portsmouth Water Filtration Plant. Signs will be posted at the intersection this week. Engineers from Geo-Graphics, Inc., said the intersection is among the top 10 most congested areas in the state of Ohio; with traffic up to 30,000 cars each day.
