Village 5K Relay for Life
We cannot display this gallery We cannot display this gallery Members of New Boston Village Council sponsored and participated in the Genesis and Interim Health Care Relay for Life 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 9.
More than 100 participants made the 3.1 mile event — beginning at Genesis on Gallia Street and then to Stanton Avenue, then back and around Millbrook Park. Much of the course was through the alleys, and traffic didn’t have to be detoured. The event’s goal was to raise $30,000 through all manner of fundraisers. The money will be turned over to the American Cancer Society during the countywide Relay for Life in June at the Scioto County Fairgrounds.
